From April 16th to April 18th of 2024, during the “vibrant” spring season, Paris, France, hosted the In-Cosmetics Trade Show. A team of seven people from Fordtek who hail from Chongqing, China, along with their counterparts from the EU, Germany, Spain, and the U.S., participated in this trade show. This marked the company's highest attendance in our history. We exuded a sense of simplicity and vibrancy for visitors with our newly upgraded booth, designed with a vibrant color scheme of white, green, and blue, providing excellent and knowledgeable service.
Based on the existing framework of Dr. Stefen’s oversight of the cosmetics department, Fordtek has restructured its European team with the addition of Dr. Ricard in the first quarter of this year. With a Ph.D. in microbiology and proficiency in English, Italian, and Spanish, Dr. Ricard brings his extensive experience from a directorship at a leading Swiss-based company to spearhead Fordtek’s business in the industry of food additives in Europe.
During the exhibition, we organized a post-trade show dinner to enable our suppliers and customers to network. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming respite from the rigors of long-distance travel and long days of exhibition work by offering a selection of local fine wines, served alongside exquisite cuisine, against the stunning backdrop of the Seine River, accompanied by soothing music playing in the background.
Also, to promote cross-cultural integration and enhance mutual understanding between our Chinese and European teams, we organized a team-building activity that is also centered around “food and wine” sharing, where together we engage in meal prep, wine selection, and post-cooking cleanup. During our latest “food and wine” share, our Spanish colleagues served their rendition of the Catalan dish "tortilla,” which was swiftly devoured by us all, and other colleagues offered some renowned American wine, which was truly delightful. We also had a chance to enjoy some delicious beef ramen, a favorite Chinese dish of our European partners.
Over the past few days, our team has prioritized customer acquisition as the central task while concurrently engaging in multifaceted team-building activities. This strategic approach aims to enhance the future service experience for European customers. Fordtek is steadfast in the belief that through sustained efforts and collaborative teamwork, significant milestones can be reached.
